Global Black Pride comes to Atlanta for 2024

    Met a great guy at a drag show. Atlanta Black Pride is almost here. From August September 1, attendees can expect a dynamic lineup at one of the largest Black Pride celebrations on the d in , Atlanta Black Pride grew out of the grassroots gatherings of the 80s and 90s and has since evolved into the cultural force it is today. You really like us! The festival will host multiple nightlife parties during the weekend-long celebration. Amidst the mostly white Pride celebrations that were happening throughout the city, Atlanta Black Pride carved out a space for Black, gay communities to celebrate Black queer life and culture.

As the train rattled along, the shared glances and stolen smiles told a story, a modern fairytale blossoming right there in the heart of the city, a symbol of a community that has been through so much that, as they both knew, was more than just a cute story, it was a hopeful and beautiful part of the LGBT experience. He was Mark, I was Daniel, and maybe, just maybe, our story was worth telling, a love story that started on the subway, a reminder of the beautiful things in this world.
