Now, we know that sometimes creators like the infamous JK Rowling have used Twitter to confirm things that may or may not be reflected in the art, but Luz is clearly written to be bisexual, writing that is all the more authentic and genuine given that Terrace is bisexual herself. As her older twin siblings brush her hair and ask if she wishes to dye it back to the oppressive mint-green her mother often requests, Amity displays a rare moment of vulnerability. Upon being banished from the library and losing her job, Amity bursts into tears. Especially for Disney.
